Der Kurs richtet sich an alle Anfänger, die keine Vorkenntnisse über die Sprache besitzen und vermittelt Basiskenntnisse der Sprach und Kultur.
Im Kurs werden zwei Ziele hauptsächlich verfolgt : Erstens, die Fremdsprache einfach los sprechen zu können; zweitens, die Grundlagen dafür zu legen, nach dem Kurs selbständig die Sprache weiterlernen zu können.
Nach der regelmäßigen Teilnahme am Kurs und aktiver Vor- und Nachbereitung des Unterrichts werden Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer in der Lage sein, sich gegenüber anderen in einer Selbstvorstellung auf Koreanisch zu präsentieren, und bereits angefangen haben, mithilfe des Wörterbuchs koreanische Texte zu übersetzen.
