Es ist zu erwarten, dass die Anforderungen an ein professionelles Forschungsdatenmanagement in den nächsten Jahren weiterhin steigen und ein gewichtiger Faktor für erfolgreiche Forschung und Drittmitteleinwerbung werden. Damit werden sich auch die am Arbeitsmarkt nachgefragten Kompetenzprofile für Absolventinnen und Absolventen verändern, indem Kenntnisse und Fertigkeiten im Forschungsdatenmanagement zu den jeweiligen fachspezifischen Qualifikationen hinzutreten. Ziel der Lehrveranstaltung „Forschungsdatenmanagement“ ist daher die Vermittlung grundlegender Kenntnisse zum Stand der Forschung im Bereich des Forschungsdatenmanagements und deren Umsetzung im Rahmen eigener empirischer Forschungsarbeiten. Anhand von konkreten Anwendungsbeispielen aus der Forschungspraxis werden die konzeptionellen Bestandteile von den Studierenden praktisch angewendet und vertieft. Die Veranstaltung wird als Blockseminar angeboten und richtet sich an Studierende im Masterstudiengang Soziologie sowie Masterstudierende anderer Studiengänge der Fakultät für Soziologie.
