LehrerInnen, BeratungslehrerInnen und (Schul-)SozialarbeiterInnen sollen in der Schule adäquate Beratung von Eltern, Schülern und Kollegen leisten. Aber was ist Beratung in der Schule aus erziehungswissenschaftlicher Sicht und wer ist Teil von Beratung in der Schule? Welche Qualifikation wird an eine/n BeraterIn gestellt? Welche Faktoren tragen zu einer guten Beratung bei und wer berät die Berater?
Um diese Fragen beantworten zu können, werden im Seminar Theorien zur Beratung thematisiert und anhand von Fallbeispielen geklärt, bzw. vertieft. Ziel ist es, Studierende im Umgang mit Beratung, den vielseitigen Beratungsanlässen und inner- / außerschulischen Kooperationspartnern zu sensibilisieren und ihnen die Möglichkeit zu geben, professionelle Handlungskompetenzen zu erwerben.

Empfehlenswert ist die zusätzliche Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung „Einführung in die Pädagogische Beratung“ von Frau Prof. Dr. Katharina Gröning.
