oSie können die evolutionären Grundlagen des Alterns auf Basis der Disposable-Soma-Theorie erklären.

oSie kennen Beispiele für Prozesse, die dem Alterungsprozess zugrundeliegenden (z.B. replikative Seneszenz, oxidativer Stress, genomische Instabilität)' 'und können diese im Zusammenhang mit 'Erkrankungen 'erläutern.

oSie kennen Modellsysteme mit Hilfe derer menschliche Alterungsprozesse erforscht werden.


In dieser Vorlesung besprechen wir das Altern auf zellulärer Ebene anhand von Beispielerkrankungen und gehen auf evolutionäre Aspekte sowie Modellsysteme des Alterns ein.
