Die Studierenden sind am Ende der Vorlesung mit den Gründen, Voraussetzungen und diagnostischen Schritten bei der Feststellung des IHA vertraug.
Die Feststellung des irreversiblen Hirnfunktionsausfall (IHA, früher Hirntod) ist eine wesentliche Voraussetzung für eine postmortale Organspende.Es werden die rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen und die relevanten diagnostischen Maßnahmen bei der Durchführung einer IHA-Diagnostik besprochen und erklärt.
