Die Studierenden können den histologischen Aufbau des Pankreas mit endokrinem und exokrinem Anteil im Präparat erklären. Die verschiedenen Zelltypen der Anteile können benannt und deren Lage im Präparat beschrieben werden.

Der Aufbau und die Funktionen des MALT- und APUD-System sind bekannt. Die wichtigsten Zelltypen für die Regulation der Funktionen des GIT können benannt werden. Die klinische Relevanz des APUD-System ist den Studierenden bekannt.
