Die Veranstaltung setzt sich mit verschiedenen Esstörungen auseinander. Dabei sollen neben der Anorexia nervosa und der Bulimia nervosa auch die Binge-Eating-Störung sowie weitere mit einem veränderten Essverhalten einhergehende Störungen behandelt werden. Die Vorstellung und Diskussion aktueller ätiologischer Theorien und Störungskonzepte sowie epidemiologischer und experimenteller Befunde zu Essstörungen wird den Kernpunkt dieses Seminars darstellen. Zudem soll ein Überblick über störungsspezifische Ansätze zur Diagnostik und Behandlung der verschiedenen Essstörungen gegeben werden.
