Die Begleitveranstaltung ist die Fortführung des unmittelbar auf das Praxissemester bezogenen bildungswissenschaftlichen Vorbereitungsseminars (VPS-Seminar aus dem VRPS-Modul). Das Seminar unterstützt bei der Reflexion des Schulforschungs- und schulpraktischen Teils. Es umfasst sowohl die inhaltliche als auch die methodische Begleitung der Studienprojekte und die Reflexion des Lehrerhandelns in der Schule.
