In der Zeit vom 1.-12.10.2007 findet ein Blockkurs zur Einführung in das Arbeiten mit Geographischen Informationssystemen (GIS) statt. (Mo-Fr jeweils ganztags von 9.15-17.00 Uhr). Der Kurs wird von einem externen Diplom-Umweltwissenschaftler (Absolvent des Bielefelder Umweltstudienganges) gehalten und basiert ausschließlich auf "Open source" - Software, d.h. jeder Teilnehmer kann die Kurssoftware nach Ende des Kurses behalten. Die Veranstaltung wendet sich an interessierte Bachelor- und Masterstudierende mit ökologischer bzw. umweltwissenschaftlicher Ausrichtung. Die maximale Teilnehmerzahl hängt von der Anzahl verfügbarer Computer ab. Laptops aus dem Computerpool der Fakultät für Biologie stehen nur in begrenztem Umfang zur Verfügung. Sofern eigene Laptops vorhanden sind, sollten diese daher unbedingt benutzt werden. Schriftliche Anmeldung bitte per email an w.beyschlag@uni-bielefeld.de Bitte in jedem Fall Name, Matrikelnummer, Studienfach und Semesterzahl angeben. Außerdem unbedingt angeben, ob ein eigener Rechner benutzt werden kann. Anmeldeschluss ist Freitag, der 17.08.2007
