Die Studierenden sollten erfolgreich an der Veranstaltung "Einführung in die Migrationsforschung" teilgenommen haben. Ansonsten ist die Lektüre zur Politik der Immigration bis zu Beginn des Seminars nachzuholen. Siehe dazu S. 1-51 in Hampshire "The Politics of Immigration: Contradictions of the Liberal State" (s.u.)
