In einer Organisationsgesellschaft zu leben, bedeutet nicht zuletzt, dass der Kontakt mit Organisationen selbstverständlich ist und in der Regel weder besonders auffällt noch in Erinnerung bleibt. Der Kontakt mit Polizist*innen bildet typischerweise eine Ausnahme von dieser Regel. Dass es sich um einen besonderen Kontakt handelt, macht sich häufig bereits körperlich bemerkbar.
Diese alltagsnahe Beobachtung greift das Seminar organisationssoziologisch auf: Was macht die Polizei einerseits zu einer besonderen Organisation? Und andererseits: Inwiefern sollte sie zwar nach gesellschaftlich-normativen Erwartungen anders handeln als andere Organisationen, aber folgt strukturell denselben Mustern?
Hierzu lesen und diskutieren wir Texte u. a. zu den Themen Gewaltanwendung und Cop Culture.
