Die Übung versteht sich als Fortsetzung der Einführung in die Spanische Literaturwissenschaft des Wintersemesters 2024/25 (kann jedoch auch unabhängig von dieser besucht werden). Sie setzt sich zum Ziel, Grundlagen der spanischen und hispanoamerikanischen Literaturgeschichte zu vermitteln. Ausgehend von den literaturwissenschaftlichen Ansätzen, die in der Einführung im Semester zuvor besprochen wurden, geht es nun v.a. darum, einzelne Epochen der Literaturgeschichte anhand maßgeblicher Werke herausragender Autoren und Autorinnen zu erforschen und zu diskutieren. Aus diesem Grund steht die Lektüre der literarischen Texte (im Original) im Vordergrund. Dabei greift die Übung zentrale Fragestellungen der spanischen Literaturwissenschaft auf und debattiert sie exemplarisch an den zu lesenden Werken. Die zu diskutierenden Texte werden auf dem Lernraum der Einführung zur Verfügung gestellt.
