Anhand ausgewählter deutschsprachiger Erzähltexte sollen die Grundlagen der Erzähltextanalyse und Erzähltheorie vermittelt und eingeübt werden. Ziel ist es, das literaturwissenschaftliche Fachvokabular zur intersubjektiven Kommunikation und Textanalyse einzuüben. Als Grundlage dient die Einführung in die Erzähltheorie von Matías Martínez und Michael Scheffel.
