Das Seminar soll Workshop-Charakter haben.

Ziel des Seminars ist es, durch die Erfahrung des literarischen Übersetzens die jeweils angemessenen Interpretations- und Formulierungsmöglichkeiten zu finden.
Es sollen englische Gedichte vornehmlich des 20. Jahrhunderts übersetzt werden.

In Einzelarbeit bzw. in kleineren Gruppen werden entsprechende Entwürfe entwickelt und verfeinert.

Gegen Ende des Seminars findet eine Reflexion über dieses eminent hermeneutische Verfahren statt.

Die Teilnehmerzahl ist auf 15 begrenzt.

Teilnehmer/innen können ein englisches Gedicht ihrer Wahl mitbringen.
Ein Reader mit weiteren Vorschlägen wird Anfang Februar 08 zur Verfügung stehen.
