Die Veranstaltung schließt thematisch an die "Einführung in die Internationalen Beziehungen I" an.
Im Mittelpunkt der Veranstaltung soll, neben der Vertiefung der theoretischen Kenntnisse anhand der Lektüre von ausgewählten Originaltexten, die Beobachtung politischer Prozesse und Strukturen der Internationalen Beziehungen stehen.
Dabei soll das Augenmerk auf die Tauglichkeit verschiedener theoretischer Ansätze (Neorealismus, Neoinstitutionalismus, Sozialkonstruktivismus, "English School") für die Erklärung solcher Prozesse und Strukturen gerichtet werden.
