In der aktuellen geschichtsdidaktischen Diskussion wird der weitgehend dürftige Ertrag des Geschichtsunterrichts konstatiert, Erfolg versprechende Lösungen werden jedoch kaum entwickelt. Diese Situation soll im Seminar beleuchtet werden. Gleichzeitig sollen Aspekte einer praxisorientierten Didaktik eröffnet werden. Dabei soll der Unterricht in der Sekundarstufe I und in der Primarstufe im Mittelpunkt der Überlegungen stehen.
