Wegen zunehmender Heterogenität der Kinder und Jugendlichen müssen die Lehr-Lern-Prozesse in der Schule heute weitaus häufiger als früher auf den Einzelfall bezogen und individuell gestaltet werden. Inhaltliche Schwerpunkte sind:
1. Differenzierung mit den Zielen Individualisierung und Integration,
2. Entscheidungs- und Handlungskompetenz für einen fall- und situationsbezogenen Umgang mit Heterogenität,
3. Didaktische Theoriebildung und Forschung in der Perspektive Heterogenität sowie reformpädagogische Konzepte,
4. Didaktiken nach Schularten, Anlage der Curricula im Sinne von Vielfalt, Einheit und Differenz.
