996006 Goal in sight — reach the finish line of your PhD and move on (WS) (WiSe 2024/2025)

Contents, comment

This workshop is directed at doctoral researchers who plan to submit their dissertation within the next year.

As the finish line of your PhD draws near, duties keep piling up and more and more text needs to be written, revised, and edited for submission.

In this workshop, we look at the bigger picture in this busy period. We use various writing strategies and exercises to explore these questions:

- What motivates me as a researcher (and how does this show in my texts)?
- How can I realistically plan my time and tasks to finish my PhD successfully?
- What constitutes myself as a researcher beyond my PhD?
