Welche Möglichkeiten eröffnen Neue Medien (Computer, Multimedia, Internet) für das Lernen und Lehren in unterschiedlichen pädagogischen Aufgabenfeldern? Und welche pädagogischen Probleme entstehen dabei? Welche Nutzungskonzepte gibt es für das Lernen und Lehren mit Neuen Medien? Welche theoretisch-konzeptionellen Auffassungen von Lernen und Lehren können unterschieden werden? Und wie sind diese zu bewerten? Im ersten Teil des Seminars geht es vor allem um theoretische und konzeptionelle Fragen; im zweiten Teil um die von den Studierenden zu erarbeitende Analyse von Lernsoftware bzw. die Präsentation von Gruppenarbeiten der Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer zu den Anwendungsmöglichkeiten computergestützten Lernens und Lehrens.
