Die inhaltliche Gestaltung des ersten Teils des IMK soll sich am Ablauf von empirischen sozialwissenschaftlichen Untersuchungen orientieren. Dabei werden insbesondere die Phasen der Problemwahl, der Hypothesenformulierung, der Operationalisierung der Grundbegriffe, des Forschungsplanentwurfs und die Entwicklung desUntersuchungsinstruments (z.B. Fragebogenkonstruktion) dargestellt und diskutiert. Parallel dazu sollen in Kleingruppenarbeit Themen- und Forschungsfragen entwickelt werden. Thematisch geht es hierbei um die Befragung der Studierenden der Fakultät für Pädagogik zu ihrem Studium. Im Mittelpunkt der Studie stehen die die Zufriedenheit mit der Lehre und dem Lehrangebot an der Fakultät für Pädagogik sowie die Erwartung der Studierenden in Bezug auf neue Lernarrangements.
