Obwohl Konrad von Würzburg seinen Trojanerkrieg nicht vollendet hat, wurde er dennoch zu einem sehr erfolgreichen Werk des Mittelalters, das Fortsetzer und Nachahmer gefunden hat. Dieses Master-Seminar, das Grundkenntnisse des Mittelhochdeutschen voraussetzt, analysiert diese Dichtung in genauer Text-Lektüre. Im Vordergrund stehen dabei die Fragen nach der literarischen Gestaltung von Krieg und Gewalt sowie nach der vielfältigen Verwendung von Schrift im Kontext eines auf Oralität angelegten mittelalterlichen Romans.
