In diesem Seminar sollen einige Grundfragen politischer Sozialisation am Beispiel von Rechtsextremismus und Fremdenfeindlichkeit vertiefend analysiert werden. Unterschiedliche theoretische Erklärungsmuster (soziale Ungleichhiet, Angst vor Überfremdung, autoritäre Sozialisation, jugendliche Protestreaktion etc.) werden vorgestellt, kontrastiert und auf ihre Vereinbarkeit oder Unvereinbarkeit hin hinterfragt. Daran anschließend sollen Konzepte und Maßnahmen der pädagogischen Intervention (akzeptierende Jugendarbeit, politische Bildung, Repression) thematisiert und auf ihre Grenzen und Reichweiten hin überprüft werden.
