Techno kann wohl als eine der außergewöhnlichsten Jugendkulturen bezeichnet werden. Daher widmet sich dieses Seminar dieser speziellen Subkultur. In diesem Zusammenhang sollen zunächst grundlegende Begriffe (wie. Z.B. Jugend, Jugendphase oder Subkultur) und theoretische Ansätze (wie z.B. Theorie der Distinktion) erläutert werden, um später auf wesentliche Aspekte der Technokultur einzugehen und die bekannten theoretischen Ansätze darauf zu beziehen. Im Hinblick auf Techno sollen historische Aspekte, Ausdrucksformen sowie heutige Formen der Technokultur im Fokus stehen.
