This course serves as an introduction into computer programming for biologists. The course targets bology students at all stages with no or little experience in programming. In eight sessions, we will cover basic concepts of programming (e.g. variables, loops, functions, classes, etc.) as well as topics concerning data analysis, data visualization or simulation of biological systems in theory and practice. The programming languages taught will be Python and Matlab. The course itself will be held in English language.
