Im Mittelpunkt des Seminars steht die Planung, Begleitung und Auswertung des Forschungsprojekts, das von den Studierenden im Rahmen des Praxissemesters durchgeführt werden muss. Es wird ein Forschungsprojekt zum Thema "Inklusion und Sachunterricht" geplant. Zunächst erfolgt eine inhaltliche, fachwissenschaftliche und fachdidaktische Auseinandersetzung mit dem Thema "Inklusion". Danach werden zentrale Methoden der empirischen Sozialforschung und der pädagogischen Unterrichtsforschung besprochen und an ausgewählten Materialien erprobt (Qualitative Inhaltsanalyse, Beobachtung, Biografieforschung , Grundlage quantitativer Forschung etc.).
In arbeitsteiliger Gruppenarbeit werden dann jeweils die Forschungsprojekte konzipiert und nach Bedarf die Erhebungsinstrumente entwickeln.
Im Begleitseminar wird einerseits Raum gegeben zur Besprechung und Koordinierung der Forschungsprojekte. Es werden aber auch ausgewählte fachliche Unterrichtserfahrungen diskutiert und reflektiert, die von den Studierenden eingebracht werden.
Im Reflexionsseminar stehen erneut die Forschungsprojekte im Mittelpunkt, die vorgestellt, vergleichend ausgewertet und unter der Perspektive der der Lehrerprofession für den Sachunterricht reflektiert werden.
