Bestseller (!) wie das „Lehrerhasserbuch – eine Mutter rechnet ab“ oder „Der Elternhasser – ein Lehrer schlägt zurück“ bringen zum Ausdruck, dass das Verhältnis von Eltern und Lehrern hierzulande äußerst spannungsgeladen ist und eine konstruktive Erziehungspartnerschaft zum Wohle des Kindes erschwert.
Ziel des Seminars ist, angehende Lehrkräfte und Schulpsychologen für dieses Thema zu sensibilisieren, Einsichten in die Gründe für das problematische Verhältnis von Elterhuas und Schule zu vermitteln, sie über Befunde zur Bedeutung der Eltern-Lehrer-Kooperation für die schulische Entwicklung Heranwachsender zu informieren und ihnen gelungene Konzepte sowie Praxisbeispiele aus dem Ausland vorzustellen.
In den einzelnen Sitzungen werden sich Impulsreferate und moderierte Diskussionsforen abwechseln.

Eine Studienleistung kann erbracht werden, indem ein Impulsreferat gehalten, ein Thesenpapier oder Handout geschrieben, ein Literaturrecherche durchgeführt oder eine Diskussion im Plenum vorbereitet und moderiert wird.
