Das Seminar dient dazu, Studienanfänger(innen) im Bachelor WuG auf die mathematischen Anforderungen ihres Studienprofils vorzubereiten. Hierzu werden die bestehenden Kenntnisse aus Mittel- und Oberstufe, die für die Veranstaltungen des ersten und zweiten Semesters benötigt werden, aufgefrischt und ggf. bestehende Wissenslücken geschlossen.
Im Seminar werden mathematische Probleme aus den Vorlesungen "Sportökonomie", "Einführung in die BWL" und "Einführung in die VWL" an praxisnahen Beispielen besprochen und im Rahmen von Übungsaufgaben vorbereitet.
Studierenden, die Probleme in Mathematik haben oder bei denen die Schulkenntnisse nicht mehr präsent sind, wird empfohlen, diesen freiwilligen Zusatzkurs zu besuchen.
