Die Lehrforschung wird den theoretischen Herausforderungen nachgehen, die im Begriff der sozialen Ungleichheit stecken. Ein Schwerpunktthema soll die Frage nach positiven Funktionen ungerechter Verteilung sein. Die Teilnahme setzt gute soziologische Vorkenntnisse, vor allem im Bereich soziologischer Theoriebildung, voraus und ferner natürlich Zeit und Bereitschaft zu intensiver und stetiger Arbeit mit schwierigen Texten und ungewohnten Ideen.
