Bei dieser Veranstaltung handelt es sich um den ersten Block im Promotionsstudiengang Public Health. Alle in den Promotionsstudiengang aufgenommene Studierende nehmen daran teil. Es werden einerseits der Aufbau der Fakultät und des Studiengangs sowie Formalia besprochen, andererseits steht das gegenseitige Kennenlernen und die Vermittlung von Arbeitstechniken im Zentrum. Die gegenseitige Kommentierung des ersten Qualifying Papers (identisch mit dem eingereichten Exposé) ist ebenfalls Bestandteil der ersten Blockveranstaltung.
Studierende erhalten vor Beginn der ersten Veranstaltung ausführliche Informationen per E-Mail.
Falls es die Corona-Bedingungen erlauben, findet der Promotionsblock in Präsenz statt.
