Mit Andreas Gryphius Dramen wird die Barockliteratur entschieden politisch; das gilt nicht nur in herrschafts- und konfessionspolitischer Hinsicht, sondern auch in Fragen der Legitimität des Tyrannenmordes, der Verbindlichkeit des weltlichen Rechts oder der Geschlechterpolitik. In gemeinsamer Lektüre wollen wir uns vor allem die Dramen Leo Armenius, Carolus Stuardus, Papinian und Catharina von Georgien durch Analyse und Interpretation erschließen.
