This course aims to provide an understanding of syntax-prosody interface from a typological perspective. We will discuss how different theories model this interface.
Participants will be required to read research articles and participate actively in the discussion in the classroom.
Knowledge of the basic tenets of prosody and syntax. An introduction to different models of prosody will be provided in the introductory session.
The relevant literature will be provided in the course outline in the first meeting for the course.
