Immer mehr Texte werden automatisiert von Computern geschrieben. Die wenigsten dieser Texte sind allerdings ästhetisch interessant. Das Seminar wird sich genau diesen Ausnahmen widmen. Gemeinsam wollen wir die Geschichte der Computerliteratur seit den 1950er Jahren nachvollziehen, ausgewählte Beispiele interpretieren, nach ihren technischen, ästhetischen und kulturellen Entstehungsbedingungen fragen und unter anderem diskutieren, ob die von Computern oder mit Hilfe von Computern entstandenen literarischen Texte originell und kreativ sind.

Erwartet wird die Lust und die Bereitschaft, sich auf literaturtheoretische Fragen und auf experimentelle literarische Texte einzulassen sowie die Bereitschaft, gelegentlich englischsprachige Texte zu lesen.
Studienleistungen werden mit einem Referat oder kürzeren schriftlichen Ausarbeitungen erbracht.
Benotete Prüfungsleistungen erfolgen mit einer schriftlichen Hausarbeit im Umfang von 10-15 Seiten.
