Das Seminar führt zunächst in den aktuellen Stand der sprachdidaktischen Diskussion über Textsortenwissen als wichtiger Teildimension von Textkompetenz ein. In der Veranstaltung werden dann ausgewählte schulische Textsorten (‚Didaktische Gattungen‘), die für den Deutschunterricht der Sekundarstufe typisch sind, thematisiert. Dabei werden neben Fragen der Aufgabengestaltung auch Phänomene und Modelle einer textsortenbezogenen Schreibentwicklung behandelt. Schließlich soll der Blick auch auf solche Aufgabenformate wie das ‚Materialgestützte Schreiben‘ gerichtet werden, die hinsichtlich der entstehenden bzw. von den Schüler*innen zu produzierenden Textsorten prinzipiell offen angelegt sind.
