The aim of this Research Class is to support doctoral candidates in their research. This includes formulating a research focus and research question, developing theories and hypotheses, collecting and analyzing data, as well as interpreting and discussing the results. In each session, there will be an opportunity to present a part of the dissertation or an article for the dissertation, and to discuss open questions or discussion points with the seminar participants. As a preparation, a draft of an article, chapter, or text section should be provided regarding the learning space. The thematic focus is on research related to social inequality. There are no methodological or theoretical restrictions.
