Dieses Projektmodul soll fortgeschrittenen Studierenden die Möglichkeit bieten, experimentelle Kenntnisse zu erweitern in Bezug auf die biotechnologische Nutzung, Photosyntheseleistug und Physiologie von Mikroalgen. In der Regel soll im Rahmen des Praktikums eigenständig ein begrenztes, aktuelles Forschungsprojekt durchgeführt werden. Methodisch soll je nach Projekt ein breites Spektrum aktueller Verfahren aus den Bereichen Algenkultivierung, Molekularbiologie, Biochemie, Systembiologie und Fermentation angeboten werden. Das Projektmodul kann auch als Vorbereitung für Bachelor- oder Masterarbeiten dienen.
