Ökologische und energiepolitische Debatten sind alltäglich und allgegenwärtig. Sie sind in privaten Haushalten als Entscheidungsprozesse über den Stromanbieter genauso anzutreffen, wie in der Kreispolitik verschiedenster Parteien, regionalen Umweltbewegungen oder als Berichterstattung in regionalen Medien. Charakteristikum ökologischer Diskurse ist, dass sie zugleich global und lokal eingebettet sind. Im Rahmen der zweisemestrigen Lehrforschung sollen empirische Studien zu „glokalen“ Umweltdebatten in Ostwestfalen-Lippe entworfen und durchgeführt werden. Im ersten Semester arbeiten wir uns zunächst in den allgemeinen Stand der Umweltsoziologie ein, um uns in der zweiten Semesterhälfte spezifisch mit dem Gegenstand der ökologischen Kommunikation auseinander zu setzen. Bis zum Ende des ersten Semesters sollen Forschungsexposés entworfen werden, die im zweiten Semester der Lehrforschung forschungspraktisch umgesetzt werden. Die gewählten methodischen Zugänge sind dabei nicht vorgegeben, sondern sollen gegenstandsadäquat erarbeitet werden.
