Im Seminar soll der Frage nachgegangen werden, wie in der Interaktion Identität konstruiert wird. Dazu werden in einem ersten Teil verschiedene theoretische Ansätze aus den Nachbardisziplinen der Germanistik behandelt, die sich mit dem Thema Sprache und Identität beschäftigen (z.B. George Herbert Mead, Erving Goffman).
Im zweiten, konversationsanalytisch geprägten Teil des Seminars wird dann auf „identity in interaction“ fokussiert und vor allem auf folgende Fragen abgehoben: Wie konstruieren Sprecher ihr Selbst in der Interaktion? Wie werden Identitäten zugeschrieben und relevant gesetzt? Wann und wie werden Identitäten in der Interaktion eingesetzt? Welche konkreten sprachlichen Ressourcen und Strategien werden dazu verwendet?

Requirements for participation, required level

Grundkenntnisse in gesprächsanalytischem Arbeiten werden vorausgesetzt; wer bereits die Seminare "Gespräche analysieren" bzw. "Einführung in die Kommunikationsanalyse" besucht hat, dürfte über das notwendige Basiswissen verfügen.
