239841 Transzendenz und Ästhetik. Johannes und Hölderlin (BS) (SoSe 2014)

Als Fortsetzung eines jahrelangen Dialogs zwischen Germanistik und neutestamentlicher Hermeneutik und als Weiterentwicklung eines intensiven, intellektuellen, existentiellen und freundschaftlichen Zusammendenkens wollen wir in diesem interdisziplinären Blockseminar eine gemeinsame Lektüre von ausgewählten poetischen Texten des Johannesevangeliums und von Gedichten Hölderlins anbieten.
Die Grundfrage, die die Korrespondenzen zwischen zwei parallelen Entdeckungsreisen leiten soll, wird lauten: Wie eröffnet die literarische Poetik von Gedichten und Bildern die Fantasie des menschlichen Geistes auf neue Dimensionen der Wirklichkeit, und wie kommt die Dimension der Transzendenz in der Ästhetik der Dichtung zum Ausdruck? Für Hölderlin hatte, das sei gleich angemerkt, das Johannes-Evangelium (und die Offenbarung des Johannes) größte Bedeutung.
