The accompanying practical phase at school will be from 01 September to 26 September 2014. Both parts of the seminar have to be taken. There will be an initial session on the first Monday (10 to 12) of the term, the other seminars will be block seminars directly before the practical phase from 10 to 17.

The preparatory seminar aims at providing you with the basics needed for “survival” in the teaching profession: basics of lesson and unit planning, dealing with disruptions, focusing on different areas of teaching like receptive/ productive/ grammar skills, …

The seminar features a practice-oriented approach which will include presentations on both theory and practice for active participation. The practical phase involves writing a report.
