Alle sozialen Phänomene sind zeitliche Phänomene. Alle sozialen Phänomene spielen sich in einer Zeit ab oder, mehr noch, sie konstituieren eine eigene, soziale Zeit. Das Seminar befasst sich zunächst einführend mit der soziologischen Theoriegeschichte der Analyse von sozialer Zeit. Darauf aufbauend werden aktuelle gesellschaftliche Entwicklungen unter dem Aspekt der Veränderungen ihrer Temporalstruktur analysiert. Das Seminar ist arbeitsintensiv und setzt eine regelmäßige Mitarbeit und Teilnahme voraus.
