Der (wie noch zu zeigen sein wird nicht ganz unproblematische) Titel "Wie ticken Jugendliche politisch?" ist einer bekannten Studie zu (politischen) Einstellungen von Jugendlichen entlehnt (SINUS 2020).
Im Seminar wird über Lektüre- und Diskussionspraxis wissenschaftliche Komplexität zur Beantwortung der Frage aufgebaut: es werden Grundbegriffe, Bedingungen, Prozesse und Wirkungen der politischen Sozialisation von Jugendlichen erarbeitet. Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auf der Frage, welche Rolle soziale Ungleichheiten spielen.
