Das Kolloquium soll dabei unterstützen, eine interessante Idee und Fragestellung für die Masterarbeit zu entwickeln sowie dabei aufkommende Fragen und Probleme zu klären. Zudem dient das Kolloquium der Präsentation und Besprechung eines Exposés, das entsprechend zur Vorbereitung auf die Masterarbeit erstellt werden soll. Das Kolloquium beruht dabei auf Gegenseitigkeit und Austausch.

Die Studienleistung wird darüber erworben, dass erste Überlegungen und Ausformulierungen zum Aufbau und Inhalt der geplanten Masterarbeit präsentiert und zur Diskussion gestellt werden. Typischerweise wird dazu ein Exposé erstellt (ca. 5 Seiten).
