KI-basierte Programme zur computerbasierten Textproduktion und Kommunikation werden zur Zeit heftig diskutiert, wobei sich Hoffnungen und Befürchtungen die Waage halten.
In diesem Zusammenhang stellen sich z.B. rechtliche Fragen (Urheberrecht, Plagiate, Falschinformationen), arbeitsmarkt- und bildungspolitische Fragen (Entwertung/Wegfall klassisch geisteswissenschaftlicher Tätigkeit?), aber auch genuin linguistische Fragen, etwa nach der sprachlichen Struktur KI-generierter Texte.
In diesem Seminar soll zunächst ein Überblick über aktuelle technische Systeme erarbeitet werden. Neben einer allgemeinen Diskussion über die gesellschaftlichen Konsequenzen dieser Entwicklungen sollen dann die linguistischen Fragen zur hiermit erzeugten Sprache und Kommunikation im Mittelpunkt stehen.
Alle Studierenden sind eingeladen, ihre eigenen Erfahrungen mit entsprechenden Programmen in das Seminar einzubringen.
