Aristoteles ist einer der wichtigsten antiken Vordenker moderner anthropologischer Vorstellungen. Der Neoaristotelismus hat in den letzten Jahrzehnten eine regelrechte Renaissance in der angelsächsischen Welt (und darüber hinaus) erfahren.
Im Zentrum steht die Lektüre von Primärtexten des Aristoteles (in dt. Übersetzung!) sowie Versuchen der Konkretisierung zentraler aristotelischer Konzepte in der Moderne, allem voran im Werk Martha Nussbaums.
