Das Seminar widmet sich der Kriminalliteratur in ihren vielfältigen Ausprägungen für kindliche und jugendliche Adressat*innen. Wir werden uns nicht nur mit der literaturhistorischen Entwicklung des beliebten Genres auseinandersetzen, sondern auch Merkmale seiner Subgenres (wie etwa der Detektivgeschichte, des sozialkritischen Kriminalromans und des Jugend-Thrillers) näher beleuchten. Am Beispiel ausgewählter Romane und Buch- respektive Hörspielserien für verschiedene Altersgruppen werden daran anknüpfend Einzelanalysen vorgenommen.
