300551 The Social Structures of Community, Work and Family (MA: Sozialstruktur und soziale Ungleichheit) (S) (WiSe 2024/2025)

Contents, comment

We are currently witnessing simultaneous and ongoing dynamics of change at the global level. Prime examples are the COVID-19 pandemic, digitalization, flexibilization, or migration. How they shape the intersection work and family life is highly debated. The seminar comprises a guided preparation, participation and conclusion of the International Community, Work and Family Conference at Bielefeld University with specific attention on the international state of the art on the social structures of Community, Work and Family. This includes the key note speak by Prof. Tanja Van der Lippe on „Gender, Work and Family” and two sessions of the conference.
