Es sollen die Eigenschaften p-adischer Zahlen besprochen werden, die man für die Analysis dynamischer Systeme benötigt. Die Besonderheiten ergeben sich aus der nicht-archimedischen Struktur der Metrik.
Bei hinreichendem Interesse ist im Anschluss eine Mastersequenz "Ergodentheorie und dynamische Systeme" geplant.

Spezielle Vorkenntnisse (außer Analysis und linearer Algebra) sind nicht erforderlich.
