Das römische Recht ist der Vorläufer des auf dem europäischen Kontinent und in weiten Teilen der Welt geltenden Zivilrechts. Die Vorlesung bietet eine elementare Einführung in die äußere Geschichte des römischen Rechts und in das römische Recht selbst. Sie führt auf diese Weise zugleich in das geltende bürgerliche Recht ein und wendet sich daher insbesondere an die Hörer der ersten drei Semester. Quellentexte werden in deutscher Übersetzung herangezogen, so dass keinerlei Lateinkenntnisse erforderlich sind.
Für Hörer im 1. bis 4. Semester.
Durch eine Klausur kann der Leistungsnachweis gemäß § 21 Abs. 2 c), § 20 Abs. 1 Nr. 4 StudPrO (kleiner Grundlagenschein) erworben werden.
