In recent years, bioimaging technologies have developed rapidly due to advances in imaging chip technology, automation of sample preparation and imaging, new staining protocols and the introduction of spectral methods. In this project we will develop methods for finding interesting hidden patterns in high dimensional bioimages (e.g. MALDI images (Cooperation with Prof. Niehaus (Biology Dept./Cebitec)), Raman Images (Cooperation with Prof. Huser (Physics Dept)) and multi-tag images (Coop. with Warwick University (UK))) and to visualize the extracted information.
