Belastende Ereignisse und bedrohliche Stresssituationen ebenso wie der als belastend erlebte Übergang zur Grundschule gelten als Risikofaktoren für unerwünschte Verhaltensweisen, psychosoziale Beeinträchtigungen und auch für Schulversagen. Demgegenüber zeigen empirische Studien, dass es einer beträchtlichen Anzahl von Kindern gelingt, trotz solcher Belastungen ihr Leben erfolgreich zu meistern. Was unterscheidet solche Kinder von denjenigen, die scheitern? Wie können resiliente Faktoren gefördert werden? Ziel der Veranstaltung ist es, wichtige Unterstützungsfaktoren kennenzulernen, die auch im schulischen Erfahrungsraum wirksam werden können. Dieses Seminar ist zugleich vorbereitend für die praktische Durchführung der Fallstudie Teil II in einer Kindertageseinrichtung im Sommersemester 2014.
Eine enge Verknüpfung mit dem Fallstudienseminar Teil 1 "Transition: Was Kinder stärkt" ist geplant.
